Dr. Javidan received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University Dental School in 1998. Following graduation, she served for two years in the National Health Service Corps at Cherry Street Dental Clinic in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she focused on comprehensive general dentistry and oral surgery patient care.
She subsequently joined Dental Care Partners, a private practice in Cleveland, Ohio, providing a wide range of general dental services with an emphasis on endodontics and cosmetic dentistry. During this time, Dr. Javidan furthered her academic interests by volunteering in both classical and current literature courses through the Endodontics Department at Case Western Reserve University.
In 2002, Dr. Javidan enrolled in the advanced endodontic specialty program at Loma Linda University. Under the mentorship of Drs. Mahmoud Torabinejad and Shahrokh Shabahang, she conducted research on Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) and surgical endodontic techniques.
In 2006, Dr. Javidan established her own endodontic practice in Palo Alto, where she served as the sole practitioner until 2024. She later joined Dr. Ray Shirani at Endodontics and Implants Associates in late 2025. Her dedication to patient-centered care and her commitment to supporting referring dentists have remained central to her practice, extending from Palo Alto to San Jose.
Dr. Javidan has published peer-reviewed articles in the Journal of Endodontics on pulp capping techniques and surgical endodontics. She is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the Northern California Academy of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Santa Clara Dental Society. In addition, she serves as a key opinion leader (KOL) for an endodontic device company and lectures regularly.
Dr. Javidan is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care using state-of-the-art equipment and contemporary techniques. She values strong communication and close collaboration with patients and their general dentists to ensure optimal outcomes. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
